    Thanks mate, actually I find the bjj more taxing on the body, probably due to my age at 47 and I only started doing bjj at 45.

    Yes, if I have doms when I step on the mat then it does affect how hard I can go, generally though I am finding myself with sore bits and pieces from rolling that I have to work around when lifting.

    22.5kg, 2 x 15

    fark yeh, awesome workout, the weights just felt light as.

    the neck still isn't 100% so i was only going to about 8 rpe and I still got extra reps, just felt bloody strong.
    incline bench is how i tweaked my neck so really took these easy.

    today is day 6 on var and man is it kicking in, strength is up and the pump I got with this workout was on another level.

    back pumps are a bit of an issue, luckily I found a pre that was sitting at the back of my supp cupboard that has 2g of taurine in it so I mixed that up and had it with my var today, there's enough there to get me through untill I get some taurine next week so hopefully 2g a day will help a bit, also increasing my water intake and getting some more potassium into my diet.

      bloody neck is still not right, seriously thinking about whether I should stop the var and wait until I am right to go hard, wondering if I am wasting it a bit.

      monday is a rest day so will rest up and see how things go, feeling so good it's gonna be hard to stop as stupid as that sounds.

            bulgarian squat, dead lift super set x 6
            bulgarian squat, 6 x 20 each leg
            dead lift, 80kg, 6 x 12

            45 db shrug, bb row super set x 4
            45 db shrug, 15kg, 4 x 20
            bb row supinated, 25kg, 4 x 25

            45 back extension
            2 x 30 body weight

            neck is nearly right so decided to have a go at some light deads, done as a super set with bulgarians they went pretty well.

            same with rows, just wantede to see how they felt nice and light and they went well.

            the plan is to go hard this next couple of weeks, have gained a couple of kgs while still leaning out so i'm very happy with how this little var experiment went.

            i feel like i have also gained strenth but haven't really been able to test it due to this bloody neck tweak,hopefully the next two weeks i will be able to test myself out.

              oh my goodness oxandrolone, where have you been all my life.....physique feels like it is changing on a daily basis, getting leaner yet fuller at the same time, hard as and strenth is totally up considering it's only 30mg/day, definitely want to properly test myself before this run ends.

                  Thanks man, yeh mate , I'm loving it, bit of a shame the timing of this bloody neck injury, I'm sure I could have really made some strength gains.
                  Oh well, I'd still consider this a successfull run for sure, the neck is nearly 100% and I've still got about 2 weeks to go so should be able to test my strength, just don't want to bloody set myself back so will have to be a bit conservative.

                    very good workout, just smashed it.
                    the only reason i only got 5 on the second heavy set of leg press is because i got a bad cramp in my quad, the pump was so full on it stopped me getting a 6th rep.

                    all in all stronger on everything.

                      fark i wish it never had to end, this is the first time benching on var that i've been able to test my strength and straight away I'm breaking new ground.
                      seems like I have been stuck unable to get more than 3 reps at 32.5kg, pushed out sets of 5 today and they went up strongly.

                      didn't want to push too hard on inclines since that's the movement where I tweaked the neck but felt like I was strong on them and could have gone heavier.

                      all round awesome workout.

                      gonna be a sad day when this run ends....till the next one begins......

                            changed things up a bit, went for volume and short rest and max pump.
                            tried out the third leg press machine my gym has, a horizontal pin weight machine, probably should have started out a bit heavier than i did but since i was going for volume with short rest i was happy.
